Sonatrach

Oil & Gas — Refinery and depots

  • 3 legacy systems consolidated into one
  • 3 depots coordinated (Augusta, Naples, Palermo)

The challenge

Managing periodic maintenance at the Augusta (SR), Naples, and Palermo depots; letting external maintenance contractors file work-order reports; consolidating multiple legacy software systems covering shift inspections, fire-safety inspections, and handovers; supporting technical checks at the marine terminal for incoming vessels.

The solution

With Open EAM, Sonatrach manages periodic maintenance at its depots, letting external contractors file work-order reports through dedicated accounts. The platform made it possible to retire three legacy systems, consolidating shift inspections, fire-safety inspections, and handovers into a single centralized Inspections module. Through the Marine Terminal module, Open EAM also supports technical and geometric checks of incoming vessels and post-mooring inspections — all on one platform.

The results

  • 3 legacy systems retired and consolidated into a single Inspections module
  • Maintenance, inspections, and vessel checks coordinated across three depots
  • External contractors’ work-order reports tracked on the platform
